Our flawless diamond event has been a combination of excitement, sharing of wonderful stories, and renewed appreciation for the inherent beauty of diamonds. One of my customers came in and purchased one for her three year old granddaughter, who she calls "Grandma's Heart". She purchased it as a family heirloom to pass down to her precious granddaughter to always remember her by. Because of our flawless diamond's superb cut, a series of hearts can be seen, with a special viewer, that goes around the bottom facets of the diamonds. They represent to her the love she has for her granddaughter and how she steals her heart! More stories to come and thank you for helping us share these "flawless" stories with you.

ANYTHING FOR YOU
I was recently asked by a concerned mom to polish the viewing area of her teenager's Apple iPod, who had damaged it accidentally. Her daughter had saved for a long time to buy it and was mortified that it had gotten so scratched. Although I have done many crazy things here, this was the first time I had done anything like this. I selected a special buff and polishing compound we use to polish plastic watch crystals, held my breath, and just like magic, it worked perfectly. Never underestimate the power of what we can do!

I am crazy about jewelry! I love the colors, the styles, and the way jewelry makes you feel when you wear it. You can never have enough and something new is always wonderful to wear. The greatest thing about the jewelry business is helping customers get the same joy out of jewelry that I do. Take out your jewelry and enjoy it!
TRAVELING TIPS
Did you know you don't have to put your jewelry in the plastic bowl at the airport security? And did you know you can ask for a private search? If they want you to take off your jewelry, you can request a hand wand instead and leave your jewelry on. When I travel, I always ask for a private search so the jewelry I have in my bag isn't exposed to everyone. Be extra careful whenever you travel and have to separate yourself from your jewelry because there is always the chance that something can get lost. You never have to part with your jewelry unless it is your decision.

BANGLES ARE BIG
The latest fashion magazines are a buzz with bangles. The wider, more contemporary ones are very fashionable and match with bracelets of all types. I love to make the wide hammered ones because they look so natural. If you have some gold lying around, bring it in and we'll melt it and redesign it into a hot looking bangle!
