Ms. Eisen has served as an expert witness in courts of law in Texas, New Mexico, and California in cases dealing with the valuation of jewelry and watches for bankruptcy, divorce, and fraud, and most recently as an expert witness for jewelry patent and trademark infringement issues. As a trained Master Gemologist Appraiser, ASA and goldsmith, her expertise includes jewelry and watch manufacture using different materials, gemstones, and techniques, distribution of jewelry through wholesale and retail channels, trademarks, coins, designer jewelry exclusivity agreements, misrepresentation of price, and valuations for liquidation, fair market value, insurance coverage, charitable donations, appraisal review, and estate tax.  She also served as an expert witness regarding jewelry patent issues and types of metals and custom and mass jewelry manufacturing techniques.  Most recently her expert witness and appraisal assignments were for federal and state cases involving theft and mysterious disappearance of jewelry, gemstones, and watches in various venues.
